I got caught out by a SAAB once, the boot release was a button on the driver’s door panel but it was when I tried to take the key out of the ignition on the centre console, I spent ages jiggling the key to try and get it out, eventually one of the other lads shouted that I had to put the manual transmission into reverse with the engine off for me to take the key out.

Friend has a manual sedan thats tuned, thing chirps the tires when boost builds a like 4k rpm. That said, never want to work on that engine.
